To track the status of a vet request, follow these steps.

Updated over 11 months ago

If you have requested a vet you can monitor the status of your request within the RightShip platform. You will also be notified of any changes in status by email.

1. From the Tasks page, you can search for a vet from the list provided or use the search field to locate vets using a vessel’s name, IMO number or vet ID.

2. On this page, you can see the current status of each vet in the column at the far right of the page.

3. Click on the vessel’s name to access the vet. On the ensuing page you see all available information including its status, the outcome, and the individual vetting rules.

4. You can visit the overview page to track the status of your vet. However you will also be notified by email of any vet status change. Vet statuses are as follows:

New Vet – Vetting request received and yet to be reviewed

In Progress – Vetting request is currently being reviewed

Awaiting Response – Vetting request is in progress and is awaiting additional information from a third party (e.g: ship owner)

Acceptable – Vetting request meets criteria

Unacceptable – Vetting request does not meet criteria

Cancelled – Vessel is no longer required

Expired – Vetting request has been opened for too long with no action being taken and has passed a set number of days.
